Maintaining Greatness Will Get You To The Next Mountain

By:  Jennifer Lisa Way | Soul Way Frequencies

It had been two years since this client had come in for a healing session.  He caught me up to what had happened over the past two years.  Life had swept him into responsibilities for a business, home life, staff, customers and expansion.  He had acquired a company and poured himself into building it out even further.  Learning how to work with a full staff and ready made customers.  Then came an opportunity to acquire a second company but, that door never completely opened.  Instead, his body started talking to him.  Our body doesn’t speak in Spanish or French; our body speaks through feelings. He was feeling Pain.

He had returned to my office (two years later) with deep Quadratus Lumborum (QL) pain.  He was barely able to move without discomfort.  This session was not to be just about bodywork.  It was his soul calling out.  This would be his realignment.  A return to the soul guiding him.

As I worked from the bottom of his feet to the base of his skull, unwinding tight ligaments, tendons and muscle fibers, I began to speak what Source placed on my tongue.  As always, I am just the conduit.

We began speaking on the topic of maintenance.  The topic and energy took on it’s own agenda.  I spoke of  the sacred and often ignored act of tending to what you have already built.  He thought he would come in for this one session and I would fix everything – that he could then get back to his greatness and keep on going.

I said No.  The secret is the opposite.

You don’t visit healing once and call it done.

You don’t climb one mountain and assume there are no others to climb.

You don’t reach greatness and coast it the remainder of life.

You maintain greatness – and only then do you climb the next mountain.

I told him that perhaps the second company acquisition didn’t happen because he hadn’t yet mastered maintaining the first.  A business can’t thrive long-term without the owner having a healthy body, a grounded mind and a nourished spirit.  You can’t expand into more if your foundation is cracking beneath you.

Maintain the business. Maintain the staff.   Maintain your marriage.  Maintain the body. Maintain the spirit.

He didn’t just need bodywork and relief.  He needed to remember the truth that landed in the healing room that day:

You reached the first mountain.  You acquired your first business.  Now you must learn how to maintain life, the staff, customers, your marriage, this business, the body and the spirit with grace, presence, self care and gratitude.  Only then, will the next mountain (business) appear.

When you can do that over time, with consistency, then you are ready to expand.  Then, the second, third, and fourth “mountain” become possible to conquer.

To maintain greatness – to truly keep climbing – you must tend to the vessel carrying the vision.

Maintaining Greatness the Soul’s Way:

1. Self-Care is Sacred Maintenance

It is not just a luxury or an occasional happening… it is a daily tuning

  • Rest before you break
  • Move energy daily:  breathwork, stretching, bodywork (massage LDT)
  • Feed yourself nourishing food, sunlight and self reflection
  • Reconnect with your “why” often – through quiet time, meditation or journaling

A burned out leader builds a burned out system.

2. Love Is The Management Model

Greatness is maintained when people feel seen, heard and valued

  • Speak to your staff with dignity
  • Celebrate the big and little wins
  • Create space for laughter, flexibility and emotional safety

A happy team produces better than a perfect one.

3. Peace Of Mind Is Your Most Valuable Asset

If your mind is chaotic, your vision gets distorted.

  • Create safe environments, so your nervous system and those around you stay relaxed
  • Don’t say yes when your soul says no
  • Learn to delegate – control is not the same as clarity

An anxious leader cannot see the path to the second mountain clearly.

4.  Alignment Over Accumulation

More isn’t always better – alignment is better

  • Let expansion be earned through consistency
  • Don’t chase a second mountain out of ego or fear
  • Ask:  Does this opportunity align with the peace I am building?

You don’t add weight to a structure still learning to hold itself.

5. Remember:  This Is A Soul Journey, Not A Race

If your body breaks down, your spirit feels unheard.

The soul doesn’t race.

The soul thrives in peaceful, safe, aligned, loving and healthy environments.

Success isn’t just about building – it’s about sustaining what you have built with integrity, grace and alignment.  Our culture teaches us to grind, to conquer, to hustle and to keep going nonstop.  The soul thrives in a different way.

The soul teaches:

  • Peace is Power
  • Stillness is Strategy
  • Care is Currency
  • Energy is Everything
  • Frequencies are Valuable Clues

So many of us reach success and wonder why we feel disconnected.  It’s’ not about reaching greatness.  It’s about learning to maintain it.  To maintain greatness and truly keep climbing – you must tend to the vessel carrying the vision.  You must water the roots and not just chase the fruit.

Let your path be steady.  Let success come from strong foundations.  Let your greatness be maintained through gentleness, healthy rhythms and reverence.

You came here to conquer mountains – yes, but, you also came here to nurture what you have conquered.  From this space, the next mountain will rise to meet you.

The client left that session different. Lighter. Listening, not just to his body, but to his spirit.

We both remembered:  Greatness isn’t the goal.  Maintaining it is.

When you can maintain the business, the marriage, the body, the staff and the spirit over time in thriving frequencies, then, you are ready to expand.  Then, the second, third and fourth mountain become possible to climb.

With reverence for the climb and devotion to the maintenance,
